Purpose & Overview
Tier 2 introduces a specialized network of Certified Trainers who provide capacity building, technical training, platform onboarding, and quality assurance support across the GlobalGrowers Web App, Desktop App, and Mobile App. These trainers bridge digital tools and field practice — ensuring that members can adopt platform workflows, meet quality standards, and scale production to meet export requirements.
Who they are
• Agricultural extension professionals, master farmers, agronomists, cooperative leaders, and certified trainers from partner NGOs or training institutions who have completed GlobalGrowers’ Trainer Certification Program.
Core Responsibilities
• Deliver standardized training modules (in-person and remote) on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), post-harvest handling, traceability, and export quality standards.
• Onboard members to the GlobalGrowers Web App, Desktop App, and Mobile App: account setup, inventory & batch recording, uploading traceability documents, and using the marketplace and communication tools.
• Run platform-based learning sessions (e-learning, microlearning, and video tutorials) and monitor trainee progress via the trainer dashboard.
• Conduct practical field demonstrations and competency assessments, certify farmers and groups against defined skill/quality criteria.
• Provide regular follow-up support and troubleshooting for platform features and integration with local aggregation workflows.
• Liaise with Country Representatives to escalate systemic issues, recommend corrective actions, and align training with market requirements.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of training materials based on feedback and market changes.
Platform Integration & Tools
• Trainer Dashboard (Web + Desktop + Mobile): access to training schedules, participant lists, progress analytics, certification records, and resource libraries.
• E-learning & Content Library: upload, schedule, and assign modules and assessment quizzes through the platform.
• Communication Tools: in-app messaging, group forums, and announcement features to coordinate with members and Country Representatives.
• Reporting & Analytics: exportable reports on training outcomes, competency pass rates, and adoption metrics for AvecAfrica and Country Representatives.
Certification & Quality Assurance
• Trainers must complete the GlobalGrowers Trainer Certification Program, which includes platform competency, pedagogy for adult learning, GAP, post-harvest best practices, and quality control procedures.
• Recertification occurs annually or when major platform or standards updates occur.
• Quality audits of trainers are performed by Country Representatives and AvecAfrica to ensure consistent delivery and impartial certification.
Trainer Benefits & Incentives
• Access to a verified trainer profile on the GlobalGrowers platform to attract engagements.
• Recognition badges and tiered compensation — trainers earn service fees for in-person delivery and platform-based training sessions.
• Priority access to curriculum updates, advanced trainings, and networking with buyers for technical missions.
• Opportunities to work with Country Representatives and AvecAfrica on premium capacity-building projects and donor-funded programs.
Relationship with Other Tiers
• Trainers operate as an empowering link between Members (Tier 1) and Country Representatives (Tier 3): they upskill members and report competency and quality issues to Country Representatives.
• Trainers support AvecAfrica’s platform rollout by ensuring user adoption across Web, Desktop and Mobile channels, reducing support burden on Country Representatives and improving data quality for export operations.

Revenue Distribution Model

Certified Trainers: training fees are typically sponsored by local NGOs in coordination with the Country Representatives. In addition, certified trainers may be eligible for an annual performance bonus tied to measurable contributions to their country’s sales performance.
Additional profit-sharing is distributed after annual accounts are finalized; eligible recipients (members and Country Representatives who contributed to that year’s sales) receive amounts proportional to their contribution.
A portion of net revenue is retained for cooperative operations, reinvestment and growth.
Country Representatives are compensated through agreed service fees.
AvecAfrica is funded through platform fees, export commissions and other service revenues.
GlobalGrowers is built on three core principles:
Aggregation Power: Combine small, dispersed volumes into exportable shipments.
Digital Enablement: Use technology to connect rural producers with global buyers.
Cooperative Economics: Promote shared ownership, shared benefits and sustainable growth.
By pairing on-the-ground support with platform tools and market access, GlobalGrowers transforms trade into an inclusive, equitable system that benefits producers and buyers alike.
Period: Until 31 December 2025, AvecAfrica will run a fine-tuning phase to refine the concept, Web/Desktop/Mobile applications and end-to-end value-chain processes described in this document.
Objective: Validate workflows, improve user experience, test training and quality assurance mechanisms, and confirm commercial pathways ahead of a wider rollout.
Target launch: Global commercial launch is aimed for Q1 2026, contingent on pilot outcomes.
We welcome farmer groups, Certified Trainers, cooperatives, processors and agribusiness partners to join the fine-tuning phase. Participants will gain early access to platform features, direct technical support and priority consideration for initial trade opportunities.
